"Lost in Music" is a 1979 - single by the American vocal group Sister Sledge. Taken from their album 'We Are Family', the song was written and produced by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards (of the group Chic)

I sampled the original song for a DJ friend of mine so he could play an extended mix of it in his set. I then thought why not have a mess with it as well, so I used the chorus groove and sang the two verses over the top, the lyrics coming from a poem I wrote about having sex on a beach.
Additional guitar, piano and drums added.
